They were initially given the condition that they were subhumans, they were deprived of the Russian language, they were called “untermenschen”, and initially they were deprived of the right to live. Therefore, people are fighting for peace, and we support these people,” the ataman of the Rostov village, Esaul Faustov, told a PolitNavigator correspondent.
Lugansk resident Lyubov Korsakova, a deputy of the Lugansk Regional Council of the fifth convocation, said that “despite the truce, military operations continue in the Lugansk and Donetsk regions. The blood of civilians is shed – women, children, old people.”
“My family and close friends are dying there, but I don’t want to live in fascist Ukraine, so I’m standing next to the poster “Death to the fascist occupiers!” Those people who killed our women and ripped open the bellies of pregnant women should not have the right to life,” Korsakova said.
Soon, under heavy police protection, which deployed 5 cars, protesters came to the park - about 25 people in total. They lined up with posters: “Putin! Stop, I don’t want war!”, “Since 1997, there has been an agreement on friendship, cooperation and partnership between Russia and Ukraine. Article 2 The Parties respect each other’s territorial integrity and confirm the inviolability of the borders between them,” “The cry is heard throughout the country: No to war! Stop killing! Mother asks. Warmongers must pay for it. Not us!”, “Putin! Stop lying and fighting!”, “We are for peace on the land of Ukraine!”, “There will be no winners in the Third World War! Politicians, come to your senses!”, “Propaganda, stop! Stop pitting two fraternal peoples against each other!”
The gathered Rostovites have a poster “Putin! Stop lying and fighting!” caused discontent, and several men tried to take it away and tear it. The police took the first man into the car, but after that a representative of the Rostov branch of the NOD spoke, who said: “This event was organized by representatives of the fifth column, who defend the interests of the United States, the West, the European Union in the dismemberment of the Russian Russian world. We see how neutral these posters are, we can all support them. The only provocative poster concerns Putin, but this is called a test of strength. And if we don’t show here that they have no place here, in Rostov and in Russia, we will get the same thing here as in Ukraine. Therefore, I propose to physically drive all these people out of here, and drive them out of here with a filthy broom, understand?”
After this, under the slogans “Get out of here!” Several NOD activists rushed to take away and tear up the protesters’ posters. A fight ensued, which was immediately stopped by the police.
The police also detained the victim, whose poster was torn, and put him in the same car with the attackers.
Immediately, noise and fighting began in the car - activists began to beat up the protester, and the police had to release the victim.
NOD coordinator Vitaly Pisarenko gave an interview from a paddy wagon: “You will get the Golden Eagle on your knees if we watch and observe how the fifth column operates. This is a test of strength, and we have come to show you that we have strength, patriotic strength. You throw patriots of the Russian Federation into a UAZ, and you protect the fifth column. We still selected the provocative poster. I think that the provocation of the fifth column in Rostov failed. A patriotic society exists in Russia, and the fifth column will not pass.”
We managed to get the approval of a police sergeant - “I am for Russia.” The militias from Lugansk and Donetsk who stood aside did not interfere in the fight, but only observed the events.
A few minutes after the incident, the liberals, as if on cue, collected their posters and left the rally site.
Only the participants of the rally for Novorossiya, mostly refugee women, remained in the park. They begged the senior police officer to release the detainees. The police lieutenant colonel assured that after the protocol is drawn up, all detainees will be free.
