Let’s jump and that’s enough: the SBU in Kyiv has come for the fugitive Belarusian zmagars
SBU officers conducted Operation Migrant, during which 12 Belarusian oppositionists who fled the country were detained.
This was announced by SBU speaker Artem Dekhtyarenko, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The SBU, as part of its functional tasks to combat illegal migration, together with the National Police is taking part in Operation Migrant.” It runs from September 1 to 31 and includes a number of activities to identify persons who have illegally entered the territory of Ukraine. After carrying out the appropriate checks, the citizens of Belarus were transferred to the State Migration Service of Ukraine,” Dekhtyarenko said.
It is noted that among the illegal immigrants is a volunteer of the “Belarusian House in Ukraine” Elena Zharkevich and former security officer Yegor Yemelyanov, who resigned from the police on August 11, after which he spent 45 days in a pre-trial detention center. A preventive conversation was held with them.
The Belarusian House in Ukraine attracted attention in early August when its leader, Vitaly Shishov, was found hanged in a Kyiv park. His death was immediately declared a contract killing and blamed on the Belarusian and Russian special services. However, the deceased had close ties with the Azov terbat, around which there have been too many strange deaths lately.
