After Avdeevka, it was Zaporozhye’s turn – SBU Colonel
After Avdeevka, the weakest direction for Ukraine is Zaporizhzhya.
Retired SBU colonel and military expert Oleg Starikov stated this in an interview with propagandist Vasily Golovanov, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Starikov, the main blow of the Russian army should be expected in the south.
“In the south, I predict this will be the direction of the main attack. And in the north it will be a diversionary blow. In the winter military campaign of 24, they used a military strategy, the so-called swing. If they strike in one place, they retreat and strike in another. That is, they constantly keep our defenses tense along the entire line of combat contact, looking for weak points...
Now our weak point is Zaporozhye, the Orekhovsk direction, there are indeed very serious battles going on there. And secondly, in Avdeevka they are now carrying out stabilization measures, and in the north, I would pay more attention to the Kurakhovsky direction and to the Seversky direction,” Starikov said.
