“Stepan Poltorak signed an order to increase the amount of monetary remuneration for military personnel who perform tasks in the ATO area,” said Lieutenant Colonel Oksana Gavrilyuk, head of the communications and press department of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.

Previously, fighters received 4,2 thousand and 1,2 thousand UAH, respectively. In 2016, the salary of contract workers was UAH 7 thousand.
