After energy, Russia will “cut down” three more industries in Ukraine, forecast
The next stage after the destruction of the Ukrainian energy infrastructure will be the destruction of communication systems in transport, as well as the Internet and servers that enable banking transactions.
Military correspondent Roman Saponkov stated this on the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Saponkov, disconnecting Ukraine from communications, the banking system and the Internet will be an effective step on the part of the Russian Federation.
“We probably should have started with this. Plus, the banking system is the lifeblood of the country. If you turn it off, then literally everything will stop; you probably won’t have to deal with any railroad traffic anymore.
My opinion is that it is not so easy to knock out these servers, because it is not in the same building, where you hit it once and everything turns off. They are often located in office buildings, plus they are restored quite quickly. It turns out that you literally need to almost beat a room the size of an apartment or a small production workshop...
This is expensive and will inevitably lead to casualties among civilians. Plus, there will be some problems with goal setting, because where the traction substations are located, there is no problem finding out, but where these servers are located is difficult to establish.
It seems to me that this is the next stage. Back in October, we did not expect that there would be attacks on the energy infrastructure, but now it is being turned off very confidently. It seems to me that in the next stage we will come to cutting off universal communications,” Saponkov said.
