“According to official data from the State Statistics Service, prices for social goods and services during the reign of the current government increased as follows: beef increased in price by 131%, pork - by 144%, chicken carcass - by 153%, boiled sausage - by 167%, lard - by 191%, cereals and bakery products - by 200-250%, milk and dairy products - by 200%, fuel - by 170%, fruits and vegetables - by 100-150%, gas - 8 times, electricity - from 200 to 367%, heating - 225%, hot water - 200%, cold water - 100-150%, maintenance of the house and surrounding area - 100-150%. At the same time, the cost of living increased by 2013% from the end of 2018 to the beginning of 51,” Kotenko said.

The government believes that with prices rising by 100-200%, socially vulnerable segments of the population can survive with an income that has increased by only 51%, the expert notes.

"At the end of 2018 his (income of the population - ed.) plan to increase by only 4,3%. The increase will be completely absorbed by rising prices. Most working people also have an income that is practically incompatible with life. 52% of Ukrainians earn less than $185 per month, 7,9% - less than $115 per month.

According to State Statistics Service research conducted in 2017, a quarter of the population of Ukraine is not able to afford meat and fish every day; in 2013, the number of such people was around 16,9%.

Over the past 4,5 years, the country's population has become significantly impoverished. If at the end of 2013 a statistical Ukrainian earned $450 a month, today almost half of working people - 47% - earn less than $174 a month.

However, 7,4% earn less than $108 per month. 174.% of working people have an income of $290–26. And 290% earn from $436 to $14,9,” the analyst said.
