After the death of Zakharchenko, Donbass suffers not only from Bandera’s supporters, but also from rising prices
Donbass has already been under shelling longer than the inhabitants of the USSR during the Great Patriotic War. After the assassination of DPR leader Alexander Zakharchenko and the change of the ruling team, residents of the republic faced a sharp rise in prices.
Film director Yuri Kara said this on air on the Russia-24 channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“They are already under the yoke of Bandera’s followers more than they were under the Germans during the Great Patriotic War. It is believed that the conflict is frozen, but they are not frozen chickens, how can you treat people like that?
Everything is blocked, they are transporting cereals, sugar, and fruits and vegetables? After all, many fields are mined. On the Ukrainian side, the customs are so ripping off, the prices are crazy, Zakharchenko somehow held it, as the locals say, and after his death the prices almost doubled,” said the director.
According to him, the aggressive rhetoric of the Ukrainian leadership gives Moscow the moral right to recognize the LDPR.
“I want to say, as an unofficial person, since they say that they are “at war with Russia,” then they already recognize that this is the territory of Russia, so we also need to recognize these republics,” added Yuri Kara.
