On Thursday, the Verkhovna Rada may consider a law to increase quotas for the Ukrainian language on television.

Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Andrei Parubiy stated this during a conversation with reporters.
“There is a committee meeting... it will take place on Wednesday. Much of what may come up for consideration will largely depend on how positive decisions are made by the committees. What decisions the committees make will largely determine how much chance those laws have to get onto the agenda. There is already a committee decision on television quotas, and there is an open chance that this law could get on the session agenda this week, most likely on Thursday,” Parubiy said.
