After the Maidan in Ukraine there was a boom in attacks on ambulance workers
According to official statistics, from the end of 2013 to the end of 2017, 543 cases of illegal attacks on the life and health of emergency medical care workers were recorded, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.

This is stated in the report of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
Thus, according to the report, 3 deaths were recorded during this time, in the Donetsk region - 2, in the Zaporozhye region - 1.
In addition, as a result of attacks on the health of medical workers, two paramedics (Vinnytsia region) received group 3 disabilities.
The most cases of attacks on the life and health of medical workers were recorded in: Kyiv - more than 120, Kharkov region - almost 100, Cherkasy region - almost 60 and Transcarpathian region - more than 40.
The Ministry of Health noted that the majority of such cases are not recorded for lack of serious consequences, and because workers do not want to write reports and explanatory notes due to the fact that they waste time on this, and as a result, the perpetrators, as a rule, avoid serious punishment and responsibility .
