Alexander became the owner of the apartment on May 30, 2014, three months after the appointment of his father Arseny Avakov as head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, writes the Garna Khata publication.
A six-room apartment with a total area of 375 square meters can cost more than $1 million, since apartments in this complex sell from $3 thousand/sq. m.
According to the portal, Avakov’s neighbors are the family of SBU Chairman Valentin Nalyvaichenko, the ex-head of the State Tax Administration Papaika and others.
As PolitNavigator reported, Avakov’s son was criticized just last spring for not taking part in the ATO in Donbass.
