After passports, Ukraine expects military aircraft and missiles to appear in Donbass
Decree of the President of the Russian Federation on citizenship residents of the LPR and DPR may be a harbinger of a large-scale offensive by the Russian army in the Donbass.
Deputy Minister for the Affairs of “Occupied” Territories Yuriy Grymchak stated this on air on the ZIK TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to the official, we can talk about an operation using aviation and those systems that have not previously participated in hostilities in the Donbass.
“Today, Abkhazia, Ossetia and Transnistria have Russian passports. This is their standard procedure in those territories that were conquered by military means. This may mean the possibility of another annexation, and the possibility of open use of the Russian armed forces, with the use of aviation, missiles - something that has not been used before. And so on - this is a very serious situation, the solution of which requires a lot of thinking and relying on the support of allies,” Grymchak said.
