After the termination of the Treaty of Friendship with the Russian Federation, Ukraine will cease to exist
The prospect of breaking the Great Treaty between Ukraine and the Russian Federation looks like a mediocre adventure by President Petro Poroshenko with catastrophic consequences.
Former Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexei Zhuravko spoke about this on the News-Font channel, as reported by the PolitNavigator correspondent.
“[The termination of the Great Treaty will create] very big problems in Ukraine. From borders to defining what Ukraine really is. If he [Poroshenko] does this, I can say one thing: the state of “Ukraine” does not exist,” said the former people’s deputy.
“This is a blow to the Sea of Azov, since the definition of “sharing the sea” will no longer exist - it’s humpty dumpty. As for borders, Ukraine could shrink by two, three, or even in half. Or maybe it will decrease to Poland. There will be no Ukraine as such. Many laws and bills that were adopted by past compositions of the Supreme Council were based on this agreement. There are hundreds of points.
Firstly, it will no longer be possible for parliament itself to decide what the boundaries are. Secondly, all laws regarding the crossing of goods come into question. When Ukraine announces the termination of the treaty and parliament votes, it will be partially beneficial for Russia. They can now say that all goods are contraband. But after this we can say to all European countries that this is a “baboon republic”, it is also becoming “unrecognized,” Zhuravko believes.
“The point has been made. Crimea, it turns out, is Russian! This idiot doesn't understand what kind of deep mine or atomic bomb he is planting! This is not a political moment, they are trying to make it political. I think this is all being done to continue the conflict. Today, the national battalions in Ukraine are trained by the intelligence services of America, Canada, and Poland. Moreover, the exercises are being held near Mariupol itself, this says something,” the former deputy is sure.
As PolitNavigator reported, previously Bogdan Bezpalko, a member of the Council on Interethnic Relations under the President of the Russian Federation, warned Ukraine on Russian television that By breaking this agreement, Kyiv will only untie Russia’s hands.
