“I received a Russian certificate of no active or expunged criminal record,” said the politician, who is running for the State Council of Crimea on the list of A Just Russia.
The newspaper recalls that Gritsenko is not the only candidate on the SR lists who had problems with the law.
“Number four on the list is the vice-president of the TPP Corporation, Sergei Beim, who spent several months in prison in 2012 on charges of abuse of power (the charges were dropped). Ex-mayor of the city Vladimir Shcherbina, who was also accused of exceeding official powers, is running in a single-mandate constituency in Alushta,” the publication says.
