The administration of the MMM project (Mavrodi Mundial Moneybox) announced the cessation of the company’s activities due to the recent death of its founder Sergei Mavrodi, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This was reported today by the Nigerian publication Premium Times, citing the words of the management of the financial pyramid.
This decision by the management of MMM was due to the recent death of the company’s leader, Sergei Mavrodi. The project managers said that they did not see the point in continuing the activities of the pyramid, since they did not have confidence that it would be possible to realize all the ideas of the founder of MMM.
Millions of Nigerian citizens took part in the project. It is known that many of them lost their invested money. However, there are also those who until recently hoped to make a profit from participating in the MMM financial pyramid.
The “tentacles” of MMM have also reached Uganda, another African country.
Let us remind you that the leader of the project, Sergei Mavrodi, died in March at the age of 63. He created the MMM company back in 1992. The project went down in Russian history as the largest financial pyramid - according to various sources, the number of MMM investors is about 10-15 million people.
