Franz Klintsevich, First Deputy Chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Defense and Security, stated this on the air of the 60 Minutes talk show. According to him, the current situation in Kyiv poses a threat to stability for the entire country.
“Today, the puppeteers who are involved in this whole business are not satisfied with the silence, the absence of conflict. The task of a military conflict has long been set, and it is not being solved... Today, the armed forces of Ukraine represent a fairly serious force and they are capable of carrying out combat missions. Thank God there are military officers there who understand what war is. Those people who can come instead of Poroshenko today will be other people. They clearly talk about a conflict... All this poses a serious threat to stability in Kyiv, in Ukraine as a whole, and on the borders with the Russian Federation,” Klintsevich said.
