Drivers explain this by security measures due to the recent terrorist attack on the capital of Chechnya.
This was told by a Kerchan woman who was unable to receive a parcel from relatives from the Stavropol Territory. According to her, the drivers refused to take the parcel, citing some kind of management prohibition.
“It was impossible to persuade. They said that they were forbidden to take parcels,” she noted.
According to the woman, drivers had never previously refused a request to deliver a package along the route, since they usually earned extra money from this.
Let us remind you that Crimea is connected by direct intercity bus service with Stavropol and Pyatigorsk.
