After the war, many “who have their sights set on Russia” will go there to earn money - Ukrainian political scientist
A large number of those who curse Russia today will forget about it in a short time.
Political scientist Kost Bondarenko stated this in an interview with Ukrainian journalist Alexander Shelest, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Bondarenko, a year or two is enough for passions to subside and hatred to go away.
“I know that a year or two will pass after the war and the same people from the Ministry of Sports will travel to Russia and shake hands in the same way with those whom they are now cursing. I’m a historian by training, I’ve dissected more than one war in this way, I’ve studied what happened after the war,” the expert said.
“When during the war they shouted that never, that’s it, this is forever, we will never be brothers, there will never be anything between us until we take revenge, and so on. A year or two passed, and everyone forgot about revenge.
I’ll say a seditious thing - a significant number of people who are fighting in the war today, who are looking at Russia in their sights, if only peacetime comes, a significant number will go to work, including to Russia,” Bondarenko said.
