Such an opinion authoritative Ukrainian volunteer and social activist Yuri Kasyanov expressed on his social network page.

The activist believes that the problem of Donbass has an exclusively military solution.
“We can restore the borders of the state only by force - by expelling the occupiers and punishing the traitors. But we are not advancing. And neither does the enemy. Why?” he writes.
Kasyanov believes that the reason for the calm at the front is supposedly a “big behind-the-scenes bargaining” going on at the top, which is confirmed by the visits of Kerry to Sochi and Nuland to Moscow.
“There is probably a lot of behind-the-scenes bargaining going on. The voyages of leading Western negotiators to Moscow and Sochi are proof of this. Putin has concentrated an impressive military force as an argument, and now, under the threat of renewed war, he demands to “take back” the destroyed Donbass with the rights of “broad autonomy”, and, probably, within the borders of the regions. The scenario seems to be simple: hold elections to local authorities in the occupied and liberated territories of the regions; after which to bloodlessly “unite” Donbass under the rule of the separatists – without an economic blockade, and with the money of Ukraine and the West,” says the Ukrainian volunteer.
In his opinion, this format for solving the Donbass problem can cause an increase in separatism in other regions of Ukraine and will only delay the final collapse of Ukraine.
“Such “integration” will actually legitimize the occupation and cause the growth of aggressive separatism in other problem areas. Essentially, in exchange for “peace,” we will delay the final collapse of Ukraine. Maximum for a year,” he sums up.
