After meeting with Putin, Trump will demand that Zelensky sell Ukraine
During the visit of Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky to the United States, a substantive conversation will take place on resolving the conflict in Donbass.
This was reported by the Kiev weekly “Zerkalo Nedeli”.
“As a result of the efforts of Volker, Perry, Chaly and Taylor, the window of opportunity for a meeting between Vladimir Zelensky and Donald Trump has not closed: Vladimir Zelensky yesterday received an invitation from Donald Trump to visit Washington on an official visit. It will take place, however, after the meeting of the American president with the Russian one. Perhaps in August-September. One thing is clear: this will not be an exchange of fluids. Of course, there will be a substantive conversation on resolving the conflict in Donbass,” the publication notes.
At the same time, the author of the article calls for remembering that for Trump, Ukraine is only one of the “chips” on the US-Russian negotiating table, which also contains the “chips” of Syria, China, Venezuela, and Iran.
“Against the backdrop of the big game of a practical American business president, all this “bridge between Russia and Europe”, “buffer zone protecting Europe from Russia” is old-school tediousness. An important question for Zelensky at the negotiations: “Why has America wasted taxpayer dollars in Ukraine for so many years?” The time has come for real business projects: land, gas production, ports, etc. Zelensky and his team are ready to sell the land. What about the countries?
