“The next six months before the elections will be a period of crisis. We, the Russian Federation, need to do what it did not complete in 2014. We need to at least be prepared to accept a large number of refugees,” Kulikov said.

At the same time, he believes that Russia has no favorites in the Ukrainian elections.

“Russia doesn’t care at all who will be president in today’s Ukraine. Horseradish is not sweeter than radish. In such a systemic picture, in which Ukraine now finds itself, it can only be reproduced in one form - an instrument against Russia of varying degrees of aggression,” the expert concluded.
