After Zolotoy and Petrovsky, breeding is expected in another 20 districts
At the Normandy Four negotiations, which will be held next month, they will agree on further steps to demilitarize the line of contact between the warring parties in the Donbass.
Political scientist Denis Denisov stated this in a commentary to Moskovsky Komsomolets.
“The preconditions for holding the summit have been met. In December, the parties will agree on 20 areas where demilitarization should take place. This could include the surrounding areas of Mariupol, Donetsk and Gorlovka, where the most difficult situation has developed,” the expert said.
According to him, the implementation of the political part of the Minsk agreements remains fundamental, especially since Russia is well aware that without progress in this direction, at best they will get a second Nagorno-Karabakh, when the conflict will be frozen, but shelling will periodically resume with casualties.
“At the same time, there is the example of Transnistria, where, in addition to the security issue, political issues were resolved for 30 years, and as a result, not a single person died during this time. As for the exchange of prisoners, if there is political will, it is possible to do it even before the summit. The lists have been verified,” Denisov added.
