"Last chance". Ukraine provokes the Russian bear
Germany and France today actually only verbally support the Kiev regime.
German political scientist Alexander Rahr said this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, in an interview with Moskovsky Komsomolets.
“Ukraine today is trying to use its last chance through a conflict with Russia to get back Crimea, although this is impossible, or Donbass, pitting the West against the Russian Federation and vice versa. Therefore, they are now engaged in provocations in the hope that they can tease the Russian bear, and then America will intervene on the side of Ukraine. Germany and France actually do not support Ukraine now. That is, they support verbally, but in reality they do not,” the expert said.
The publication asked his opinion regarding the so-called “Crimean Platform” initiated by Kiev.
“I haven’t heard anything about her at all. When I talk about provocations, I mean closing Russian-language channels, oppressing Russian speakers, thereby provoking Russia. The calculation is to drag the West into a conflict with Russia,” the political scientist noted.
According to him, morally official Berlin is on the side of Ukraine.
“Because the German elite, the German government views Ukraine as a victim of Russia. But they will not interfere and start a war with Russia,” Rahr is convinced.
