The procession, organized by the Svoboda party, gathered up to 3 thousand people. At the head of the column were participants in the war in Donbass - veterans of the so-called. ATO.
The demonstrators held portraits of the leaders of the Ukrainian nationalist movement, as well as photographs of the dead ATO participants.
In total, 50 members of the Svoboda party died in Donbass during the conflict, said its head Oleg Tyagnibok.
In past years, Bandera’s attempts to pass along Khreshchatyk caused resistance from pro-Russian forces, but now almost all of them are banned and forced out of the legal political field of Ukraine.
