As the press service of the Mariupol City Council, 95 people were injured.
“About 40 of them are in very serious condition, their limbs are torn off, they have abdominal and head wounds,” said Andrey Fedai, secretary of the Mariupol City Council.
“Since the very morning, utility companies have been going out to clear the rubble and, first of all, to close the windows where the glass was broken by the blast waves. We are now distributing film to cover apartment windows,” he said.
Starting at 7:00 this morning, housing organizations began to continue glazing work and covering broken windows with film. From 8:00 a.m., work teams formed by Mariupol metallurgical plants began helping housing residents.
At night, the power supply to the Vostok boiler room was restored and the lines are currently being filled with coolant. In parallel with this, thermal engineers are conducting a site-by-site inspection in order to identify buildings into which, due to destruction, coolant cannot be supplied.
