The Ukrainian crisis poses a direct threat to the entire system of international relations, said "Kommersant" President of the Institute for Strategic Assessments Alexander Konovalov.
According to him, the annexation of Crimea seriously frightened the West. The conflict in eastern Ukraine confirmed that the international security system that has existed for decades is of little use for countering modern challenges.
