This is stated in the statement of the G7 ambassadors published on the website of the Italian Embassy in Ukraine, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“We welcome the adoption of the bill on healthcare reform in the Rada and hope for its rapid implementation. This legislation is an important step forward and aims to improve health care for all Ukrainians, ensure effective primary health care and eradicate corruption,” the statement said.
“This achievement is just the first step and much work remains to ensure its full implementation. It will be important to ensure that sufficient funding is allocated to the health sector and that the Ministry of Health receives the necessary support. The G7 will continue to support reforms in Ukraine,” added the GXNUMX ambassadors.
Let us recall that on October 19, the Rada adopted the scandalous medical reform proposed by the Ministry of Health under the leadership of American citizen Ulyana Suprun. The reform actually abolishes the remnants of Soviet social legislation in the field of universal access to medicine and legalizes paid medicine in Ukraine. According to experts, up to two thirds of low-income Ukrainians will thereby lose access to quality medicine, which will affect morbidity and mortality rates in the country. The Suprun reform has already been dubbed “genocide” in the media.
