A posthumous title from Poroshenko is all that the deceased “cyborg” commander received from Ukraine

Novoe Vremya reports this.

Zubkov was one of those who, until the last moment, held the defense of the Donetsk airport from the DPR militias, despite the fact that, as it turned out later, after the death of hundreds of Ukrainian soldiers, the territory they were defending, according to the Minsk agreements, was initially supposed to go to the DPR.

During the battles for the airport, the “cyborg” was wounded, but he refused to be evacuated. On January 20, a man reported by phone that he was under rubble. His body was later found under the ruins of the airport.

“For the exceptional courage, heroism and self-sacrifice shown in defending the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of the Ukrainian state, I decree allegiance to the military oath: To award the title Hero of Ukraine with the Order of the Golden Star to Ivan Ivanovich Zubkov, senior lieutenant (posthumously),” it says order.

Let us remind you that earlier “cyborg” Oleg Kuzminykh returned home after a long captivity. The DPR militia held the commander of the air assault battalion of the 81st brigade for 124 days. Oleg Kuzminykh was taking out his wounded brothers and was ambushed.
