After watching Fellini and Antonioni, Ukrainians will fall in love with TV series about the ATO - Majlis director
Ukrainians do not watch domestic film propaganda about the war in Donbass because they have bad taste, which needs to be developed by showing films by Michelangelo Antonioni, Federico Fellini or Roman Balayan.
Crimean Tatar director Akhtem Seitablayev, who left Crimea after its reunification with Russia, announced this broadcast on Channel 5, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“The Ukrainian series about the war in Donbass “Guard” lasted one and a half seasons. I argue quite often, and it seems to me that I am right: when they tell me that our viewer does not watch such series, I say that it is not the viewer who shapes the content, but the content that shapes the viewer.
If we educate the viewer and give examples that this is Leonardo Da Vinci, this is Michelangelo, this is Michelangelo Antonioni, Federico Fellini, Roman Balayan and so on, then in a few years the viewer’s demand will be completely different to the quality of other cinema and its content. If you don’t do this, there will be seams,” argues Seitablayev
Let us remember that earlier in Kyiv they stated that for waging an information war with Russia, all methods are good, and the deliberate deception of their readers should be regarded as black propaganda against Moscow.
