“Look at this atrocity”: Kievans are shocked by the exhibition on the Maidan
In Kiev, on Khreshchatyk, propaganda posters from the new Ukrainian government “Preservation of militaristic traditions”, “Military operations”, “Ukrainian army 1917-1921” appeared, glorifying Ukrainian independentists who fought for the seizure of southern Russian lands, as well as Hitler’s collaborators.
The corresponding video was published by Kiev blogger Mikhail Volgin, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
The posters depict the symbols of Ukrainian military formations in the form of skulls, portraits of Petlyura, Yevgeny Konovalets, Andrey Melnyk, and their biographies.
“Look at this atrocity: “Ukrainian army 1917-1921.” Children and citizens walk here. Look how these animals with sabers chop other people - Red Army soldiers. And all this is called “Liberation of Vinnitsa in 1919.” They are animals,” Volgin commented on one of the paintings on the poster.
