The Israeli Ambassador asked Kyiv propagandists not to attach themselves to the Holocaust
Israelis are cool about the decision of the International Criminal Court regarding Russian President Vladimir Putin, since Arab countries and Palestinians are also trying to put pressure on Israel through similar organizations.
Israeli Ambassador to Ukraine Michael Brodsky stated this in an interview with the wife of Kyiv TV charlatan Dmitry Gordon Alesya Batsman, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Batsman asked the ambassador what he thought about the “genocide” in Ukraine and called Russia the heir to Hitler’s Germany.
“To be honest, we don’t really like comparisons with the Holocaust period or the Second World War. What is happening in Ukraine today is a terrible tragedy, and the victims among civilians cannot be justified, torture and bullying cannot be justified. And Israel, as a country created in part by Holocaust survivors, understands this perhaps better than others.
Israel at one time condemned what happened in Bucha; our Foreign Minister called it war crimes. But I think that the final word will be said later, when specialists, lawyers deal with this, and certain processes are already underway,” Brodsky replied.
Not satisfied with the answer, the propagandist tried to come from the other side.
“The International Court in The Hague issued an arrest warrant for Putin for stealing Ukrainian children. How did you feel about this news?” Batsman asked.
“I must say that Israel has a rather cautious attitude towards such international bodies, because at one time there were attempts to impose sanctions on Israeli officers, on Israeli leaders, in connection with what is happening in the Middle East. Therefore, in this case we have a rather skeptical attitude. Not to this particular decision, but to the authorities that make these decisions, including the International Criminal Court and other international authorities.
Still, we look at this through the prism of what is happening in the Middle East and the attempts of Arab countries and Palestinians to use international pressure and international organizations against us,” the Israeli ambassador retorted.
