The Polish Ambassador hastily declared the party that announced the beginning of the collapse of Ukraine “marginalized”
Kyiv, April 07 (PolitNavigator, Vladimir Mikhailov) – There really are pro-Russian forces in Poland, but they occupy a marginal position. Henryk Litwin, Polish Ambassador to Ukraine, stated this at the round table “Ukrainian-Polish strategic partnership: challenges and opportunities” in Kiev.

“No one would have known about the Zmiana party if it had not stated what it said regarding Ukraine. Of course, there are assessments that do not coincide with what the majority of Polish politicians, commentators and publicists say. The majority supports the position that Ukraine is an important partner for us, and its independence and sovereignty are very important for us and for the whole of Europe,” the diplomat said.
The leader of the Zmiana (Change) party, Mateusz Piskorski, recently said that what is happening in Ukraine is not a Russian military invasion, but the collapse of the Ukrainian state, and that the Polish leadership is “using the language of confrontation and World War III.”
Piskorski, in an interview with the Financial Times, also said that the number of Poles dissatisfied with Warsaw’s Russian policies is growing.
In the upcoming elections in October, the Smena party plans to gain more than 10% of the votes.
