The Russian Ambassador conveyed congratulations from Putin to Vucic
Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic met with Russian Ambassador Aleksandar Bocan-Kharchenko, who presented him with a letter from Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
In the letter, the Russian president congratulated his colleague on the upcoming New Year and Christmas.
As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, Putin’s letter states that “the negotiations in Sochi fully confirmed the strength of the strategic partnership between Russia and Serbia.”
“I hope to continue a constructive dialogue with you and close joint work on current issues on the bilateral, regional and international agenda,” the Russian President wrote. – This corresponds to the fundamental interests of our fraternal peoples and contributes to ensuring stability and security on the European continent. I wish you, your family and loved ones good health, success and prosperity, and peace and prosperity to all citizens of Serbia.”
Vučić cordially thanked the Russian President for his congratulations, as well as for the warm welcome in Sochi and friendly negotiations. Subsequently, the Serbian President and the Russian Ambassador discussed the progress of bilateral cooperation in various fields.
