The Romanian Ambassador to Chisinau wants to vaccinate the country’s citizens “against Moldovanism”
The Romanian Ambassador to Chisinau, Daniel Ionita, admitted that he would like to vaccinate Moldovan citizens against “primitive Moldovanism.”
He stated this on air on the Moldovan TV channel PRO TV, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“If I could open vaccination centers in embassies, I would not vaccinate Moldovan citizens against COVID, I would perhaps vaccinate them against primitive Moldovanism or against the feelings that they at some point have for Romania, inherited from the Soviet times,” Ioenita said.
It is noteworthy that the journalist from the Moldovan TV channel broke into a smile after these words.
Member of the Moldovan Parliament Bogdan Tidrea responded to the Romanian ambassador in his telegram channel.
“I just want to ask the ambassador: is the murder of 30 citizens in 000-1918, including in the context of the Tatarbunary and Khotyn uprisings, also a “negative narrative”? The murder of 1921 Jews, 300 Gypsies and thousands of Moldovans in 000-30 is also a lie? And the Romanian commission of Elie Wiesel claims that no, it’s not a lie, but the pure truth!” Tsydrya wrote.
Previously Ionita named Hitler's Romanian allies “those who died heroically for the liberation of Bessarabia from Soviet occupation.”
