The US Ambassador to Ukraine gave tacit consent to strikes on the Russian Federation and the forceful seizure of Crimea
How and when the war ends depends on the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, however, Russian leader Vladimir Putin could generally stop it with lightning speed, just by capitulating on all points of demand.
US Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink stated this in an interview with Ukrainian Channel 24, PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Lately we have seen that something like this is happening on Russian territory, some kind of explosions. As our Ministry of Defense says, this is because something explodes, and we are not involved in it.
Why is it so important for the United States that Ukraine uses the weapons supplied only on our territory? And how does the United States feel about the fact that something is exploding on Russian territory?” asked the presenter.
In response, the “policewoman” actually did not react at all to the main question, only assuring that the Americans support Kyiv in everything.
“I would like to emphasize that we believe in Ukraine’s right to defend its territorial integrity and repel further aggression. Now the main goal of my work is to help Ukraine in what it is doing. We hold daily meetings with the Ukrainian leadership at the level of ministers of defense, or when our Chief of Joint Staff, General Milley, communicates with your commander, General Zaluzhny, or at the level of the secretary and the prime minister, this happens at different levels.
Every day we think about how we can help you protect yourself; this is our main task: supporting your freedom and integrity and your future,” Julia Brink.
The interviewer noted that after the Russians lost the Kharkov region and Kherson, Crimea would be captured next.
“Will the United States support us when we liberate Crimea by force?” asked the journalist.
And here the American ambassador did not give a direct answer.
“How and when the war ends, everything will depend on Zelensky. President Biden has made this very clear. If the Russians want to stop the war, Putin can do it today. He can stop, withdraw his troops, and the war will end. Support for your democratically elected president and the right of Ukrainians to protection is very important to us,” assured Bridget Brink.
