President of Pridnestrovie Vadim Krasnoselsky received today in Tiraspol the US Ambassador to Moldova Derek Hogan.
The official website of the President of the PMR reports this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Despite the fact that the situation in the neighboring state has stabilized, there has been no progress in the negotiation process, including the 5+2 format,” Krasnoselsky said.
According to him, it is necessary to resolve issues in such areas as telecommunications, termination of politically motivated criminal cases, interbank cooperation, the full functioning of the northern section of the railway, and the issue of joint Moldovan-Ukrainian control on the border with Transnistria.
Vadim Krasnoselsky recalled that the Pridnestrovian side had fulfilled previously agreed upon obligations. He emphasized that he counts on Moldova’s responsible approach to continuing the practical implementation of the entire range of signed agreements.
This position was supported by Derek Hogan, noting that he arrived in Pridnestrovie precisely to discuss current issues in light of the political changes that have occurred in Moldova and to outline the US vision on all aspects of the negotiation agenda.
Let us note that today Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Kozak is in Chisinau on an official visit.
