The US Ambassador in Chisinau sent farmers on tractors towards Dodon
The center of Chisinau was blocked today by dozens of tractors, and their owners tried to break into the government building. Thus, Moldovan farmers protested against the actions of the country's authorities.

The protesters' attempt to storm the official building was stopped by the police, but the tractors made a lot of noise, they hummed incessantly.
Formally, farmers had exclusively economic demands: increase subsidies and compensation for drought, reimburse excise taxes, and not increase the VAT rate.
However, the ruling Socialist Party believes that the protests have a political motive and are inspired by the party of elected President Maia Sandu, as well as the US Embassy.
“The ambassadors of the EU, the USA and Romania are dissatisfied with the bills on the Russian language and Russian news. The PSRM wants to return the status of the Russian language, to return Russian news, as more than a million citizens of the country demand. But the ambassador doesn’t like this,” wrote member of the Moldovan parliament Bogdan Tsydrea in his telegram channel.
In addition, he believes, the US Ambassador to Chisinau, Derek Hogan, is not satisfied with the socialists’ initiative to return the Republican Stadium, where the Americans wanted to build a large-scale diplomatic facility, to state ownership.
His words are indirectly confirmed by the fact that at today’s protests there was a demand for the resignation of the Moldovan government (this is in the interests of the pro-Western Maia Sandu). In addition, farmers called for help from the so-called combatants - participants in the 1991 war with Transnistria. And this public is the bearer of extreme Russophobic views.
“That is why on Thursday and Friday all forces will be directed towards parliament. Rural millionaire leaders, combatants, mayors from the CALM association (received grants from Soros foundations). The “leaders” will be led by Slusar, serving Maia Sandu, and the combatants will be controlled by Kiril Motpan.
The goal is to intimidate the deputies and force them to refuse to adopt these popular laws. We do not rule out that they will try to storm parliament, catch deputies, beat them, make them kneel, pour water on them, force them to apologize to the crowd, like in Kyiv during the Maidan. The ambassador doesn't like jokes. And his lackeys will do anything. The main thing is to loudly give the command “front”!” Tsydrya wrote.
The leader of the Democracy at Home party, Vasily Kostyuk, was also present in the square, calling on those present to riot and demanding the resignation of the current government.
