The United States demands that African countries not interfere with the promotion of LGBT values.

The Ambassador of Uganda to the Russian Federation, Moses Kawaaluuko Kizige, stated this, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, in an interview published by Komsomolskaya Pravda.

Thus, Washington recently excluded Uganda from the free trade zone with the United States, thus responding to the ban on LGBT propaganda in this country.

The diplomat noted that “the United States is using the ‘gay agenda’ as a condition for continuing free trade with one country or another.”

“In this respect, the Russian Federation is very different from the West. You don't force us to dance to your tune. For Uganda and many other African countries, the issue of sexual orientation is a private matter for people, let them do what they want behind closed doors.

In Uganda, in our traditional homes, we also turn off the lights so that the children do not see through the crack in the wall what we are doing there. Moreover, I cannot even kiss my wife in public, with whom I have been with for 35 years, because, as I said, private things should remain private,” the ambassador said.

According to him, representatives of non-traditional sexual relations are trying to promote their ideology in the public space.

“They involve young people in their networks. This is not just contrary to our culture - it is a crime. Therefore, our new “anti-LGBT law” was passed to protect the future generation. This is more important than some virtual bonuses from “free trade” with the United States,” Kizige concluded.

Let us recall that the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation recognized the “international LGBT movement” as an extremist organization.
