The Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States, Valery Chaly, said that recently “Russian agents,” including their “collaborators from Ukraine,” have been increasingly trying to “promote” “plans for the surrender of Crimea” in Washington.

“Against the background of the emergence of new / old plans for the surrender of Crimea and the lifting of sanctions from Russia, which Russian agents of various stripes have recently been trying to promote even more actively in Washington, including, unfortunately, their collaborators from Ukraine, I declare: firstly, no insidious “compromises” with the aggressor will work, just as the plans to pacify the dictatorial regime failed three years ago, when the heroes of the Heavenly Hundred and the Ukrainian people prevented the surrender of Ukraine. Secondly, the achieved level of interaction with the new US administration and Congress allows us to convey truthful information to our partners for balanced assessments and decisions, thirdly: for now, the team of the Ukrainian Embassy in the USA is working harmoniously under the leadership of the President, with the support of the government and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and many of our friends across America in interactions with the consulates general, honorary consuls, PPU at the UN, the Ukrainian diaspora - all attacks will be repelled decisively and effectively,” he noted.

Among other points of the plan are the lease of Crimea to the Russian Federation for 30-50 years and the transfer of Donbass to Ukraine even before the holding of elections there, provided for by the Minsk agreements. In this context, the name of people's deputy from the Radical Party Andrei Artemenko is mentioned.
