The Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States failed his job
Ukrainian diplomats in Washington are not included in the high offices of the US government - no one receives them and the interests of the country are not represented in any way.
Former Prime Minister of Ukraine Yuriy Yekhanurov said this on the NewsOne TV channel, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to him, the Ambassador of Ukraine to the United States Valeriy Chaly (pictured below) cannot influence decision-making in the States.
“I have the opportunity to compare the work of the embassy as it looked during almost all the years of independence. I must say that our team working in Washington is currently quite weak. Nobody accepts them, they, as they say, are not included. Despite the fact that Mr. Chaly himself is a very smart analyst. I don't know what kind of diplomat he is. Apparently he can't do it. And it is very sad that we cannot influence there in any way. But the position of diplomats is the strength of the country and the energy of the country. And we clearly don’t have enough of this energy,” said Yekhanurov.
