The Russian Embassy is trolling the UK
The Russian embassy in London invited Britain to mark the anniversaries of its revolution and regicides in response to a scathing article in the Times newspaper that Russia had abandoned large-scale celebrations of the October Revolution.

This is stated in a message from the Russian Embassy on Twitter.
“Excellent trolling from the Russian embassy in Britain. In response to another Times article about why the Kremlin does not particularly celebrate the 100th anniversary of the revolution, the embassy asked to be reminded how England celebrates the anniversaries of its revolution and regicide. Is there a British government conspiracy behind this?
Eh, I never tire of repeating: why, of all the Russian embassies, is it only the London one that has a correct, modern information policy?” noted political scientist Vladimir Kornilov in his blog.
