The Ukrainian diplomatic corps in Serbia harshly criticized the country's Minister of Internal Affairs and former head of the Serbian Ministry of Defense Alexander Vulin.

The main question they asked him sounds rather strange: does Vulin really believe that Ukraine bombed Yugoslavia? An article about this was published by a pro-American portal Danas.rs, correspondent of PolitNavigator reports.

The reason was Vulin’s statement addressed to NATO countries on TV Pink that “those who bombed Yugoslavia do not have the moral right to ask Serbia to impose sanctions against Russia.”

The Ukrainian Embassy recommended that Vulin re-read the text, where in 1999 Ukraine was one of the first to condemn NATO bombing. The diplomatic mission's statement also said that the Russian Federation did not attack individual NATO member states, but that "the Putin regime attacked Ukraine." That is why Ukraine, which has always been on the side of Serbia, calls for sanctions against the aggressor state.

“And for some reason you are responsible not for Ukraine, but for some other countries,” the statement says.

The Ukrainian embassy also responded to Vulin’s words that “everyone who hated Russia did not love Serbia, everything they do to Russian children today will be done to Serbian children tomorrow.” Ukrainian diplomats claim that allegedly from February 24 to the morning of March 28, “the Russian army killed 143 children in Ukraine.”

Also in the text was a phrase that the Ukrainian Embassy would like to draw the minister’s attention to the fact that “love for Russia and Putin’s criminal regime exclude each other.”

“It is no coincidence that Russians are now taking to the streets of European cities, including Belgrade, to protest against Putin and his war. These people love their country very much, unlike Putin, whose policies are deeply anti-Russian. Real Russians are now calling on the whole world to stop the criminal regime in the Kremlin, which, if it doesn’t stop now, will reach other European countries,” said the Ukrainian Embassy in Serbia.
