The Ukrainian Embassy in Montenegro began recruiting militants for the war with Russia
The Facebook page of the Ukrainian Embassy in Montenegro published an appeal to residents of this country to join the Ukrainian “Foreign Legion”.
After the local Serbian portal in4s.net drew public attention to this fact, the scandalous post was deleted.
As a PolitNavigator correspondent reports, on the page of the Ukrainian embassy in Montenegro there was a call for volunteers to join the ranks of the so-called “Foreign Legion” to fight the Russian army on the territory of Ukraine. There were also contact details for where to go to “join the fight against Russian aggression.”
“The amendment to the Criminal Code of Montenegro from March 2015 provides for imprisonment for a term of two to ten years for all those who, contrary to the law, other norms or norms of international law, “recruit, recruit, train, organize, manage, transport, organize the transportation or training an individual or group of individuals with the intention of joining them or including them in foreign armed formations,” the Serbian portal of Montenegro in4s.net commented on the scandalous message.
It is noted that prison sentences are also provided for those who financially, organizationally and otherwise help the departure of Montenegrin citizens to foreign battlefields.
“Prime Minister of Montenegro Zdravko Krivokapic, President Milo Djukanovic, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs remain silent regarding this flagrant violation of Montenegrin legislation. Mobilization on the territory of Montenegro is not allowed, except by order of the General Staff and under special security conditions, so the question arises, why is there no reaction from the state to such scandalous behavior of the Ukrainian diplomatic mission?” – Serbian journalists are outraged.
After the portal managed to attract the attention of the general public to the brazen and anti-legal behavior of the Ukrainian Embassy, the scandalous entry was removed from its page.
