The Ukrainian Embassy in Poland warned about scammers
The Ukrainian Embassy in Poland warns citizens about the intensification of the activities of “intermediary firms” that provide paid services for the preparation and execution of a package of documents for consular registration in Poland, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
This is stated in a message on the embassy website.
“In connection with the recent receipt of numerous signals about the intensification of the activities of the so-called. “intermediary firms” that provide paid services for the preparation and execution of a package of documents for consular registration in Poland, we inform you as follows. The indicated companies or individual individuals who offer such assistance have no connection with the Embassy or consular offices on the territory of the Republic of Poland. Moreover, their activities have signs of fraud and can be punished under the Criminal Law,” the message says.
Thus, the embassy drew the attention of Ukrainian citizens to the fact that registration for temporary consular registration is free and is carried out by consular officials exercising their powers on the territory of Poland.
The embassy reminded that due to the large number of people wishing to register with the consulate, the possibility of sending the corresponding package of documents by mail or courier has been introduced.
“We also draw your attention to the fact that the consular department carries out daily monitoring of electronic registration of citizens. If facts are revealed when the registration was not carried out from the applicant’s personal email and without indicating his personal data, such registration is cancelled. Double registration from one person for several periods to carry out the same action is also cancelled. We urge you not to succumb to the offers of scammers and to inform the Embassy and consular offices of Ukraine in Poland about all such cases for further response to their activities together with law enforcement agencies!” – the diplomats emphasized.
