Ammunition supplies to Ukraine have decreased significantly - military analyst
Last fall, the United States significantly reduced supplies of ammunition to Ukraine.
Military analyst Ilya Kramnik stated this on the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
According to Kramnik, this led to the fact that the Ukrainian Armed Forces, although they retained the ability to terrorize the civilian population of the liberated regions with chaotic shelling, lost the ability to attack.
“Supply volumes have dropped noticeably, for various reasons. Now one of the consequences is that the Ukrainian Armed Forces have fewer artillery capabilities than they had in the summer. Unfortunately, these capabilities are enough to terrorize peaceful residential areas, but there are fewer of them for full-fledged front-line operations, and offensive capabilities, accordingly, have sharply decreased...
According to rough estimates, NATO now provides more than 70% of the total stock of weapons that Ukraine uses. Of these NATO supplies, the vast majority comes from the United States, with the rest supplying much less. Perhaps the situation will change as the industry develops and certain contracts and orders develop, but for now the United States is the leader, and it is the United States’ reduction of supplies in the fall that is the most significant reason for the reduction in the arsenals of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” Kramnik noted.
