In addition to supplies for its subsidiary, in July the French company sold gas to NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine - approximately 27 million cubic meters of gas were supplied to the state holding.
On August 1, Angie Energy Management Ukraine received a license from NEURC for natural gas trading, which gives it the right to directly sell gas to end consumers.
Engie is one of the largest European energy companies, which is engaged in the generation, transmission and supply of electricity, production, transportation and supply of natural gas, as well as alternative energy sources. In 2016, the company's turnover amounted to €66,6 billion.
Angie Energy Management Ukraine LLC was established in Kyiv in August 2016. 99% of the authorized capital belongs to GDF International, 1% to JSC Sopranor (both from France). Head: Olga Zhukovskaya.
Let us recall that, as reported, the pumping of Russian gas to Europe through the Ukrainian gas transportation system reached record levels this year. At the same time, Ukraine has stopped purchasing gas directly from the Russian Federation and is doing this through European suppliers in the order of reverse deliveries.
