This information was reported by the press service of the Ministry of State Security of the LPR, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
Let us note that since the winter of 2014, the man has participated in pickets and rallies against the Ukrainian junta. In August he ended up in Severodonetsk, from where he maintained contact with the LPR. I could no longer leave, because by that time the Ukrainian Armed Forces had lists of Russian Spring activists and militias on the front line. In the fall of 2016, he was detained by Ukrainian special services.
“I was walking home from work when a white minibus stopped. The masked people asked “so-and-so, so-and-so?” and the answer was “yes.” They loaded me into a bus and took me away. Then interrogations, beatings, threats and an attempt at recruitment began,” he said.
While still in the minibus, grenades were placed in the detainee’s hands to leave fingerprints. Then they were shown in a bag as evidence. They said: “Now you can’t get away with it: an attempt at a terrorist attack.”
“Naturally, the fuses of the grenades were unscrewed. Therefore, already in the room, showing me grenades with fingerprints, they told me that this was an attempt at a terrorist attack in the Jazz shopping center. According to them, it was I who installed the tripwire,” recalls a resident of Lugansk region.
“The interrogation began in the evening, and the beatings continued throughout the night. I signed the documents with my cap down over my eyes. I didn’t see what I signed.”
SBU officers were given the task to get a job in the Armed Forces of Novorossiya and pass on any information.
“Information about what equipment, full name, call signs, telephone numbers. That is, they were interested in any information related to military service,” added the Luhansk resident.
