“We do as we want.” The President of Croatia made a brazen statement against the Serbs
Croatian President Zoran Milanovic “reassured” Serbian neighbors about his country’s intentions to build military base in Kosovo, which was taken from them.
It is reported Index, reports the correspondent of PolitNavigator.
“We have a new time ahead of us,” said the President of Croatia in his characteristic impudent manner. – On a certain day, 150 of our soldiers will go to Kosovo. We considered it routine, but our neighbors became agitated. If it means something to them, then there is no need to see it as a cause for concern. We did not intend a provocation. This is our right, we are participating in this (in the occupation mission KFOR) and we will continue to behave this way.”
When asked by journalists whether he feared Serb revenge against Croatian soldiers, Milanovic replied that he had no such fears.
“The Albanian majority has been consolidated in Kosovo and is recognized by the majority of member states of the European Union,” concluded the Croatian President.
Let us recall that Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic regarded Croatia's intention to establish a military base in Kosovo as another attempt to humiliate Serbia.
