Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko announced this during a joint briefing with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
“We substantively examined ways to simplify the visa regime for Ukrainian citizens and agreed that in the near future we will take important steps in this direction,” Poroshenko said.
The Japanese Prime Minister noted that during the meeting the parties discussed issues of carrying out reforms in Ukraine and providing assistance to Ukraine.
