“The loss of Liman is a consequence of violation of the charter and fraud” - Sladkov
The consequence of the surrender of Krasny Liman was the failure to comply with the simple rules of the wartime regulations by the commanders of the RF Armed Forces, who simply did not even establish contact with the units defending the city.
Russian military correspondent Alexander Sladkov stated this in his video blog, the PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“I’ve been asked a million times: “Comrade, why did we achieve such negative results in Liman?” I say, guys, there is a combat manual, and it was completely ignored by the leaders who are on the ground, big commanders. Not the LPR and DPR, but here I mean, after all, another army, the Russian one. Senior commander: “Okay, there are combat regulations, well, there are weapons - we shoot back, and that’s all.”
Guys, war has its own laws and rules. Now imagine this. I live in Moscow, for example. I leave my house, somewhere on the Garden Ring, and I need to get to Mira Avenue. And I, not following the rules, spanked him straight away. I'll be killed, hit by a car in five minutes. Or the police will arrest and detain you. They will be taken prisoner, so to speak.
That is, if I simply don’t follow the rules in a peaceful environment, I will die. What do you want from the war? In war, follow the rules - and everything will be fine. You will fight and win. Well, let those in charge think about it. We have a battle manual written in blood. There are departments for everyone, and there are secret departments. Interaction. Well, not a single unit had any connection with each other,” Sladkov noted.
The military correspondent named fraud as another destructive trait “in the blood” - and gave a specific example.
“In our 42nd division, not this one, which is now valiantly fighting against the Nazis, but the 2000 model. Defense Minister Igor Sergeev arrives - the nicest person, he never screamed or yelled, he delved into it. He came to Khankala, and ours, instead of learning the internal order, appointed two sergeants and changed the lieutenant into a sergeant, he was supposedly the company duty officer. The Minister of Defense accepted the report, inquired, clarified, it seemed normal,” said Sladkov.
According to him, the soldiers did not come up with anything more reasonable than to send the same outfit unnoticed to the next barracks, which, naturally, the Minister of Defense could not help but notice.
“He says: guys, if you’re rubbing points at me at this level, then what should I do with other options [in battle]?” – added the military correspondent.
