Having lost Avdiivka, the Ukrainian Armed Forces intensified shelling of Donetsk from other directions
The liberation of Avdeevka made it possible to end the ten-year artillery hell in which residents of the surrounding areas of Donetsk lived.
Kiev lawyer Tatyana Montyan, who left Ukraine and moved to Donetsk, stated this in an interview with the Belarusian news agency Belta, a PolitNavigator correspondent reports.
“Life in the city has changed for the better in those areas adjacent to Avdievka. Long-suffering Spartak, who lived in complete hell for ten years, people from there say: “God, are we really going to install glass, how long can we live with polyethylene.
Yakovlevka, Mineralnoe, Yasinovataya - those that are directly adjacent to Avdievka, they have become better. Although they are also periodically reached by drones, drops, and fpv,” Montyan said.
However, she emphasized that the shelling of the Ukrainian Armed Forces intensified in other directions.
“As for all other districts, it’s not that nothing has changed, but it has become even worse. Everything that can fly is flying in the direction from Krasnogorovka.
Today we went and brought food to people. So, from Nevelskoye, which is supposedly taken, but in reality is not, everything that can fly flies. Drones roar in flocks continuously. People are simply living in hell and waiting for that direction to finally be moved away from the city.
Well, no one has even started to Gorlovka yet. Absolutely everything is also flying to Gorlovka, because there the front line has hardly moved at all. And I think they will continue to shoot from long-range for a long, long time,” the lawyer summed up.
